  I walked in the office with my son, at 2:30 pm, to take the road test. There was no one waiting to be seen. There was an employee napping in the lobby and two other employees standing behind the counter. The instructor looked at us as if we walked in the wrong place-not pleasant. I asked to have my son take the road test. She stated the last appointment to take the test is at 4 pm and you have to schedule the appointment. I said "OK, can you sign him up, we can come back. She said sarcastically "What day?" I said "Today." She said "He could not take the test today and why didn't we go to another DMV in Columbia?" I said " They were busy and I knew you would not be." Well, she wanted to see his permit to put him on the schedule after asking him to spell his name to write on the schedule. I found that odd.

  Although the wait times are short bc it is a small ofice, the staff is EXTREMELY RUDE! I have been ignored on several occasions, as well given snide replies for asking about title changes. They do not want to work and it is apparent when you walk through the door and are treated like you are a bother.

  Fabulous folks! I have only waited in line one of the three or four times I have been to the DMV in Winnsboro. This office doesn't have the huge buildings that most SCDMV offices do, nor do they have the crowd. The employees there are extremely nice and take care of the people who come in. It's sort of like going to the country version of the DMV because they're nice and enjoy helping people. Hopefully sharing this review doesn't ruin it!
